Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Nature of Services & Commercial Contractual Commitment

When you subscribe to a Digital Access Pass, activate a Research Membership, or pay for transparency ledger access on Third Estate, you purchase verified access to proprietary workforce market analytics, research datasets, and real-time governance disclosures. In return, Third Estate enters into a binding commercial service agreement to apply its best efforts toward delivering these digital assets and publishing its scheduled milestones.

2. Force Majeure Exclusions

Our contractual obligation to advance commercial milestones is strictly limited by events of Force Majeure. In the occurrence of such events, performance delays or operational disruptions shall not constitute a breach of contract and shall not trigger an automatic right to a refund.

Force Majeure events include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial crises, sudden loss of banking or processing facilities, or unavoidable insolvency.
  • Political upheavals, regulatory crackdowns, state intervention, statutory prohibitions, or judicial mandates.
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, or civic emergencies.
  • Incapacity, permanent physical disability, or unforeseen demise of the founding team.

3. Refund Eligibility & The 30-Business-Day Cure Period

Outside of qualifying Force Majeure events, we stand firmly behind our digital deliverables:

Deficiency of Service / Operational Default

If an active pass subscriber encounters an unresolved failure to access paid transparency disclosures, line-by-line ledgers, or associated membership deliverables, they must notify Third Estate in writing. Third Estate is entitled to a cure period of thirty (30) business days from the receipt of notice to rectify the access issue.

If the issue cannot be resolved or rectified within thirty (30) business days (assuming no intervening Force Majeure event), the subscriber is entitled to claim a refund of the consideration paid for that specific service.

Duplicate or Technical Glitch Transactions

Accidental duplicate charges or erroneous deductions caused by payment gateway timeouts or technical synchronization issues are eligible for an immediate full refund upon transaction verification.

4. Refund Request Procedure & Payout Timelines

To submit a grievance or claim under the 30-business-day provision, email [email protected] with:

  • Your registered transaction ID / payment reference number.
  • Date and amount of the subscription pass fee.
  • Specific detail regarding the unfulfilled deliverable or technical discrepancy.

Once a refund is verified and approved following the cure evaluation, it will be remitted through our payment aggregator back to the original source account (UPI, card, or net banking) within 5 to 7 business days.
